The Artist
DORI
For twenty years, DORI lived between India, Tibet and Europe — learning from old goldsmiths, sitting in bead markets, and collecting the small, ancient objects most people walk past.
The work was never comfortable. It was a long, restless search for a way to hold time in the hand — to take a stone that had already lived for centuries and give it one more life, worn against the skin.
TASHBI is what came out of that search. Not a label. A signature — pressed into every piece, one at a time.

The Craft
From an ancient stone to a living thing
There is no production line. There is a bench, a loupe, and the patience to let a piece take exactly as long as it needs.
The find
It begins with a single object — an antique bead, a banded agate, a stone with a history. Nothing is designed until the heart of the piece is chosen.
The drawing
Days of thinking. The metal has to answer to the stone, not the other way around. Every flower, every leaf is drawn to frame what already exists.
The hand
Gold and silver are raised, carved and chased entirely by hand. Diamonds and coloured stones are set one by one, under the loupe.
The rest
Some pieces take days. Some take two long months. It is finished when it is finished — and then it belongs to one person, forever.
